How to buy

Two routes.
Both guided.

ABTC is bought on Ethereum. You can send ETH to the sale contract from a wallet you control, or swap ETH for ABTC inside that wallet. Both routes are explained here in plain language, four steps each, with the exact contract and the checks that matter.

Self custody. No account. No registration.

01Before the first step

Three things to get right.

These three points decide whether the ABTC reaches you. They take a minute to read and they prevent every mistake listed further down this page.

  1. Use a wallet you control.

The sale contract issues ABTC to the address that sends the ETH. An exchange sends from its own address, so tokens sent that way are credited to the exchange and not to you.

  2. Ethereum, not another network.

Both contracts live on Ethereum Mainnet. A transfer on another network does not reach them, and a token sent on the wrong network cannot be recovered here.

  3. Your keys stay with you.

Astra never asks for a private key or a recovery phrase, and never contacts you first. This site never opens your wallet and sends no transaction on your behalf.

The guided routes

Choose where your ETH is today.

Both routes end the same way: ABTC in a wallet whose keys you hold. Pick the one that matches your starting point, then follow the four steps.

From an exchange

Your ETH sits on an exchange today. Move it into your own wallet first, then send it to the sale contract from there.

  1. Open the exchange and withdraw ETH to a wallet you control, such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Rabby or a hardware wallet. Choose the Ethereum network. Do not send the withdrawal straight to the sale contract.

Exchange withdrawal, Ethereum network, your own address.

  2. The sale contract is the address your ETH is sent to. Copy it from the direct purchase section on this site. Compare the first four and the last four characters with the address shown here before you paste it anywhere.

    First 0x7F, last f8A0.

  3. In your wallet choose Send, paste the sale contract as the recipient and enter at least 0.001 ETH. Keep the network on Ethereum and set the gas limit to 150,000 or more. Confirm only when the recipient matches.

Minimum 0.001 ETH, gas limit 150,000 or more.

  4. The contract issues ABTC in the same transaction, but most wallets do not show a new token on their own. Use the Add ABTC button in the direct purchase section, or add the token by address with the symbol ABTC and 18 decimals.

Swap ETH for ABTC

Your ETH is already in a wallet you control. Swap it for ABTC from inside that wallet, without moving it anywhere else first.

  1. The swap happens inside your wallet, so the ETH has to be there first. Withdraw it from the exchange on the Ethereum network. Keep a little extra ETH available for the network fee.

    Ethereum network, self custody.

  2. Open the swap screen in your wallet, or Uniswap in a browser with your wallet. If ABTC is not in the token list, add it by its contract address and check that the address matches this page character for character.

Add 0x8C45…c404. Symbol ABTC, 18 decimals.

  3. Choose ETH as the token you pay and ABTC as the token you receive. Enter the amount, then read the price, the slippage and the network fee before you confirm. A very tight slippage setting can make the swap fail.

Read the price, the slippage and the network fee before you confirm.

  4. If ABTC does not appear after the swap, add the token with its contract address, symbol and decimals. Then check the balance in your wallet, and the same balance on Etherscan if you want a second view.

The balance shows in the wallet and on Etherscan.

03After it lands

Check it, then keep it safe.

Three checks take less than a minute, and they tell you early if something went wrong.

  • Look at the balance.

ABTC should appear in your wallet after you add the token. If the wallet shows nothing, read the token balance on Etherscan before you assume the transfer failed.

  • Check the contract.

The only ABTC token contract is 0x8C45…c404. Anything with a different address is a different token, whatever its name or symbol says.

  • Keep the recovery phrase offline.

Write it on paper and keep it where only you can reach it. No site, message or support person needs it, and Astra will never ask for it.

04Where it goes wrong

Five mistakes to skip.

Each of these is common, and each one is avoidable with a check that takes seconds.

  1. Sending from an exchange to the sale contract.

The exchange sends from its own address, so the ABTC is credited to the exchange. Withdraw to your own wallet first.

  2. Withdrawing on the wrong network.

Ethereum only. A withdrawal on another network will not arrive at an Ethereum address you control.

  3. Pasting an address that does not match.

Compare the first four and the last four characters every time. One wrong character sends the ETH somewhere nobody can recover it.

  4. Sending less than 0.001 ETH.

The sale contract rejects anything below 0.001 ETH. The transfer fails and the gas is still spent.

  5. Leaving no ETH for gas.

Every Ethereum transfer carries a fee paid in ETH. Keep a small amount available or the transaction cannot go through.

05Ready when you are

The contract, the quote and the button.

The direct purchase section carries the sale contract, the live quote from the contract and the Add ABTC button. Read the risk disclosure before you send anything.
